Good news – with the update, everything is now working great again on the site. Thanks for all the help!

I’m still getting “Update package not available”

I can’t seem to find my paypal payment receipt for the plugin, either.

I will probably want to renew the plugin – let me know how much – should we take that part of the discussion to email?

I had a feeling it was something like that. Site is http://retailer.hugglehounds.com/

More details (sorry, just thought of this): when items are successfully added to existing cart form redirects to shopping cart, but when the add fails (no existing cart), there is no redirect, just a redisplay of the page that has the form on it.

A clarification on the “doesn’t add to cart” – if I have items in my cart, the plugin DOES add items to the cart.

Didn’t think of that! Fortunately, the customer’s SKUs are all five digits, so the SQL order works just fine.

The problem was a couple of array elements using ‘orderby’ when they should have been ‘order_by’ (or vice-versa) – I’ll email you the details, line#’s, etc.

    Hi Slavi –

I got the V1.1.4 update – thanks! The SKU orderby wasn’t working, so I looked at the code and it looks like there is a mix use of ‘order_by’ and ‘orderby’ in the get_products() function.

I’ve fixed my copy here for now – if you want me to send you my changes, I’d be happy to do so.

Thought about this some (and looked at the code).

I guess what I’m looking for is some way to turn off the <div> & <form> at the beginning and </form> & </div> at the end of the shortcode, so that I can have just one beginning and one ending. Two thoughts, and I’m just totally spitballing here (and don’t expect anything immediate or even done, as I’m not sure this is anything that makes sense for other users):

1 – additional shortcode args to turn off the beginning & end of the form

2 – new shortcodes to START the form, END the form, DISPLAY a group of products, heck, maybe even display the SUBMIT button (so you could put one at the beginning of the form and one at the end, both of which would submit the entire page). These would be new, and the existing shortcode would do just what it does now – do everything.

Just ideas – I’m a coder, too and may try my hand at my own customization if needed (maybe #2 – I like the “build your own” approach).

I’m not sure if it’ll work that way or not, but I’ll check it out. The customer wants to group items by category and have some indication of what category each group of products belongs to (a header at the top of the grouping).

I know this is a big request – they’re trying to mimic an existing print order form. I’m not even sure how it would work on the backend.

Oh – this is my first updated version since I bought the plugin – how do I get updates?

I’m working on a site for a company that sells wholesale pet toys.

Are there any known issues coming back to the form and losing order info after going to a product page? I guess that’s why I was hoping it would be a popup jquery window.

    Thanks for the answers!
