I purchased a larger SSD drive. It seems Samsung comes with a software that helps you copy over the old drive's contents to the new drive easily.

I've installed Samsung Magician that came with the drive but received this error message?
I am running Windows 8. I removed the software and downloaded the most recent version from: http://www.samsung.com/global/business/semiconductor/minisite/SSD/global/html/support/downloads.html and everything worked great.

Magician is unable to find a Samsung SSD connected to your system, so some of the Magician features may not work correctly. If you are using any custom storage driver, then Magician may not work properly. Please always use the latest storage driver or Microsoft driver.

Note 1: Close all programs to make sure everything gets transferred correctly. Only Magician must be running.
Note 2: if you're a developer you're most likely running web server(s), database server(s) etc. Stop those services just in case.
