    I used the Child Theme Creator to make a new theme. The name is “Aaron Child Theme 7-28-2016.” It works and I can edit it using your editor. But, I cannot find the files themselves via FTP. I expected to find them in the Themes folder, but they are not there. Where are the files?

    Do I have to keep the plug-in running all the time? Or can it be disabled if I am not creating or editing a child theme?

    Sorry to have bothered you– the child theme was in “Themes” just as I expected. My FTP program did not refresh properly until I quit and re-connected. Then the child theme’s directory showed up right away, in the Themes folder.
