    Download link emails suddenly stopped working on my site. Neither the buyer nor the sellers are getting the download link email. Please check it out on urgent basis as that is impacting my business

    Hi,

    Can you enable debugging within the plugin?
    That way you’ll have some tracking info.

    This could be caused by PayPal not calling the plugin.

    Have you made any changes to your hosting recently?
    e.g. mod_rewrite url redirects, any server upgrades?

    Can you please define the steps of how to enable the debugging. and once it is enabled, will you check the trace logs for the issue?
    The download link was working till this Sunday and i did nt upgrade my hosting. Let me know how should i proceed.

    Hi,

    Here is info

    WP Admin > Orbisius CyberStore > Settings

    Advanced click on show -> check Enable Logging checkbox.

    Good.

    Next, we need to wait for an order so the plugin can record the transaction details.
    Or if you have a test paypal account you should be able to do the testing.
    To get a paypal test account you’ll need to go developer.paypal.com and then create 2 test accounts 1:seller and 1 for a test buyer.

    I can see the debugging result on the same panel. I dont feel like posting them on a public forum. Can i send it to ur email address?

    Of course not. There is too much personal info in those log files.

    Can you download the log file and put it on dropbox and then send us a link to help at orbisius.com

    Hi,

    thanks for the log file.
    As far as I can tell TXN Status: shows as VERIFIED which is a good thing.
    That’s what you want to see. After that the user should receive the emails.

    Can you check with your hosting if they had upgraded the php?
    Also did you install a new plugin that may be handling emails?

    We have upgraded it sometimes last week but it was working fine after that. Yes, i have installed one plugin but once the problem arises, i deactivated that as well.

    yes, i can see the email as delivered but i couldnt get why the buyers and us are not getting it. Do u think its an issue with paypal?

    Hi again,

    Is it possible to ask your hosting support to check the mail log file.
    On linux it can be found in: /var/log/maillog

    Then have them search for email delivered status to your customer’s emails.
    For example in the file you sent me there was a @gmail.com account (page #5)

    Our hosting is based on windows server and not linux. What should be the path for mail log file on windows server?
