Tagged: child theme
I am looking at using your plugin for creating child theme for my site.
As per the latest wordpress codex on creating child themes, they should be created now using the “Wp_enqueue_scripts_action” instead of the “@import” function.
Which way does this plugin operate?

Thanks.

Hi,
Yep. It’s definitely better to use enqueue assets. We’ve gotten several suggestions about that.
We’ll schedule that in a future release which should be available sometime in mid/end of March.
Currently, the css import is being used.
P.S. Here is how we prioritize things: http://orbisius.com/support/priority-bug-fix-feature-implementation/

Hi Slavi,
Just wonder if this issue has been dealt with yet or not? I’m thinking of using version 1.2.6.
Thanks,
David
Hi David,
Not yet, we haven’t had change to make the changes just yet.
I will post an update as soon as this is test and ready for use.
Thanks for reminding us how important this is.

Hi Slavi,
Thanks for the quick reply. I’ve been seeing a lot of comments recently about this, so thought I’d ask.
Best – David
