I have a blog on personal development (in Bulgarian) and wanted to have a page that holds the links from a specific category.
I totally want things to be as automated as possible so using a plugin was the way to go. That way I didn't have to go back and update the page that holds the list of the posts from a given category.
To accomplish this I've used this free plugin called List category posts By Fernando Briano. Basically you need to paste a shortcode and include the category ID or name. I prefer to use ID even if it's less descriptive because it won't change unless you delete and recreate the category.
This is the shortcode that you need to include on the page you'd like to list category posts. 123 is the category ID.
